Mobile App Analytics, Built Into Every App You Launch
Track how people actually use your app — opens, screens, push performance, feature usage — from the moment it goes live. Connect it to Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics in minutes, no engineer required.
App Opens — Last 7 Days
Trusted by enterprise and mid-market teams building on Buildfire
The Short Answer
Every Buildfire app comes with usage and push analytics built in — no separate analytics subscription, no SDK to install, no engineer to wire it up.
You'll see app opens, screen and plugin views, user counts, and push notification performance (opens, click-through rate, actions taken) right in your Control Panel from day one. When you need more — funnels, cohort analysis, custom event tracking — Buildfire's native Segment integration routes your app's event data straight into Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics, without custom development.
Why It Matters
Data that turns guesswork into a plan
Analytics only matter if they change what you do next. Here's what built-in tracking actually gets you.
See what's actually working
Which plugins get used, which screens people bounce from, which push campaigns drive opens — the data that turns guesswork into a plan.
Catch drop-off before it costs you
Spot where users stall or stop coming back while there's still time to fix the experience, not after they've already left.
Prove the ROI on engagement spend
Push notification analytics show exactly how many opens, clicks, and actions a campaign generated — so you know what to repeat and what to cut.
What You Get
Everything you need to understand your app, built in
No separate analytics stack to stitch together. It's already part of the platform you're building on.
Dashboard Analytics
App opens, active users, and screen-level engagement, visible in your Control Panel with zero setup.
Push Notification Analytics
Opens, click-through rate, and action-item clicks tracked per campaign, per segment.
Plugin & Feature Usage
See which of your app's features people actually use, so you know where to invest next.
Native Segment Integration
Connect a free Segment account and route every app event — opens, navigation, feature interactions — to the analytics stack you already run.
Route to Mixpanel, Amplitude, or GA
Segment forwards your data to the destination of your choice for deeper funnels, cohorts, and custom reporting.
User Segments & Tags
Group users by behavior or attributes, then use those same segments to target push campaigns and measure the result.
Set Up in Minutes, Not Sprints
Connect Segment in 4 Steps
Create a Segment source
In your free Segment account, add a new source and choose Node.js Server. Copy the Write Key it generates.
Connect it in your Control Panel
Go to Settings → Integrations → Segment, paste in your Write Key, and save.
Confirm data is flowing
Click around your App Preview to generate events, then check Segment's source Debugger. First events typically appear within 10–20 minutes.
(Optional) Send it to Mixpanel
In Segment, add Mixpanel Actions as a destination, paste in your Mixpanel project token and API secret, and enable it. From there, every app event flows straight into Mixpanel's reporting.
No code. No developer ticket. Just three settings pages.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a separate analytics tool to track my app?
No. Every Buildfire app ships with dashboard and push analytics built in. A separate tool is only necessary if you want more advanced reporting — funnels, cohorts, custom events — which Segment gives you access to without custom development.
Can I use Buildfire with Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics?
Yes. Buildfire’s native Segment integration lets you route your app’s event stream to any of these (or several at once) as Segment destinations.
What gets tracked automatically, without any setup?
App opens, screen and plugin views, user counts, and push notification opens/clicks/actions are tracked out of the box, visible in your Control Panel.
Do I need a developer to set up the Segment integration?
No. It’s a Segment account plus two settings fields in your Control Panel — no SDK installation or custom code.
How long after connecting Segment until I see data?
Typically 10–20 minutes after the first app events are generated.
